Theobald is a Director of
Photography and Producer, with over thirty years of experience
working in broadcast television
and video. He is the President and founder of Gary Theobald Productions
Inc., a
multi-service company that specializes in providing fully equipped
broadcast
video crews to networks, production companies and corporations. In
his formative years, Gary worked
as a cameraman at various TV stations: first at CHCH-TV 11 in Hamilton,
Ontario;
then moving on to TCN Channel 9 in Sydney, Australia; and finally as
Head
Cameraman at CKVU-13 in Vancouver. In
1989, Gary Theobald
Productions was
incorporated with a single-camera Betacam Camera package,
and a strong client base developed over the years working freelance in
the
broadcast markets. As
his reputation and demand grew, Gary
Theobald has a BA in Applied
Arts in Communications (1978) from He
has shot extensively throughout Cory Horowitz Vice-President, Producer, Administrator Cory Horowitz has been a partner in Gary Theobald Productions since its inception. She produces projects for both corporate and broadcast clients, and is the company's primary administrator. Cory has a meticulous eye for the myriad of details that come across her desk daily.Previous to incorporating the company with Gary Theobald, Cory's achievements were diverse: she traveled the world extensively, managed a small lithography business in Vancouver, and studied Fine Arts and Philosophy at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. Cory's 20 years of hands-on production experience, creative abilities, and understanding of business, are all qualities that have proven to be valuable assets, and an integral part of our company. At Gary Theobald Productions, Cory remains on the front lines, as one of our main client-service representatives. She identifies our clients' needs and requests with a keen sensibility, and conveys those requirements to our production team. |
